There is no better way to start off summer than with an outdoor concert…specifically a Ray LaMontagne concert.
But our luck would go something like this:
Arrive at 6:30.
Opening band #1 at 7:30-sunny.
Opening band #2 at 8:00-sunny.
Ray begins at 8:45…along with a torrential downpour-right on schedule…
Lawn seats quickly become seats under a deck; roughly 4 feet tall.
Yoga mat=destroyed. Rain=slowly dripping down our backs.
However;
luck returns & we’re allowed under the pavilion…and as we finish bolting across the hill we spot available seats…in the second row.
…the second…row.
Forget the rain, the yoga mat, the raccoon eyes and drenched hair…and enjoy the show…in the second row.
