Shortly after Hawaii I had a weekend getaway in Toronto. A definite change of scenery indeed! I was able to do a lot of sight seeing–some touristy and some not-so-touristy.

Sometimes we saw street artists.

Sometimes we saw street musicians.

& sometimes we saw drunk people laying beside street musicians.

On the first night we went to Second City and saw an awesome comedy.

The view from the CN tower, one of the tallest towers in the world. This is one of those things you definitely have to do when you visit Toronto.

We also visited Casa Loma which is a neo-gothic style seven story mansion. It took three years to build and was finished in 1914 but was established as a museum by 1937.

On the second evening we listened to live big band jazz music at The Rex. This renown jazz club has live music 7 days a week. This place was packed but we eventually made it to the front!
